Default TAMIYA TUNED MOTOR for F104

Im building a F104 and i want to purchase all the aftermarket parts before i assemble it. Im looking into to a tamiya tuned motor. I know the the Formula-Tuned Motor (32T) is a replacement but can i go with a higher motor say the Tamiya (#53983) Lightly Tuned Motor 28T? Im going with the Tamiya TEU0104BK. Im trying to keep it simple.

Any other suggestions would be great.

Yes the tuned motor will fit and work fine. Should still be controllable.

The tuned motor for the 104 will work fine.. you could even put more motor in.. allot of the guys use the Mini Hobbywing combo.. and they are super fast.. I have a 17.5 in my with no timing.. just have to take it easy on exiting the corner.
