I'm with McDDD here: I've got some of each of those categories! Mostly the "dorked with no or little damage", but also some "splattered" lol. Hell, I dorked my Sabre 35 twice into the grass at the park yesterday...

That depends what the definition of CRASH is !
I have had some test flights that were so crazy that just breaking the landing gear out would be considered a GIFT !!! hahahahha

RE: How Many Times Have You Crashed?
so if we are talking bag material crashs, put me down on the heavy side of 41+!!
how can you be in this hobby to have fun and not have some real good ones, the more you fly the more your chances just go up.
i just figure that every time i see the wheels leave the ground,it could be the last i see that plane, and that just removes all the stress.

3x's so far not including "Deadsticks." I try not to be too confident.
I since bought another Seagull .90 Extra 260 about a month ago, and put in a O.S FS1.20 (before Surpass) instead of using the same O.S .91FX. So now if I crash there will be more smaller pieces to pick up.

Add one more to my list, just parked my Goldberg Wild Stik in the top of a 50' tree. Broken prop and mashed in leading edge of left wing. Trying to find another wing, otherwise will tear down and rebuild wing.

I picked 6-10 cause I only counted the times I have destroyed a model. I didn't count repairable damage as I do not consider that a crash, more of a mishap or incident.

RE: How Many Times Have You Crashed?
It's reallyn hard for me to say but I've been flying since the wright brothers, I don't crash as much as I use to.
But when I got My MX I bent the landing gear numerous times and put her in the top of a tree. I guess my worse crash this year was my twist. I was working on my hovers down good and low, and o yeah my GWS tigermoth 400. I stalled her flying around at eye level good an slow.
So thats 2 so far this year.
Now I've been told that there are only 2 kinds of airplanes. Those that have crashed and those that are going to crash.
