I guess I will start it off. I like the Revo 3.3. Thats what I own. I have had a Tamiya Terra Crusher since like 2005 or 2006, and I love it, but getting parts is not the easiest thing to do being that I mostly have to order parts online which mean always having to wait x amount of days to fix. I also have a TMaxx 3.3, well my son has it actually, and that's pretty cool too, takes a beating and keeps on going.
I chose the Revo 3.3 because of the ability to lower the center of gravity for street riding much easier. I just got street tires and new Wheels from proline and will have them on by Thursday. I will post once They are on".. I also am able to do the same bashing someone would do with regular convensional monster truck will do..
Thanks
Oh, ps, I will add the Tamiya TNX to the list ..

I like my tmaxx, I bought it used for cheap, modded the hell out if and now it almost never breaks. Which brings me to my point, tmaxx's are like chevy 350's, there are a ton of them out there and even more aftermarket parts for them. and yes ill take a stock tmaxx over a stock savage, I just happen to like tmaxx's

heres my opinion, if i wanted a nitro monster truck i would get a revo, t-maxx, or savage. if i wanted an electric monster truck i would get the flux without even thinking about it. if i wanted a truggy i would get an E-revo without even thinking about it.

The LRP does very well with the 3.3 tranny. I modded the engine slots to run revo gears. Im running 18/36 and its very fast.im using 1/8 scale flywheel and clutch bell for a savage. She'll pull Second gear wheelies too....

A word of advice take the diff apart and see for yourself. it sounds like the diff is still free. in your pics lower your shocks in the front and that will help with the ballooning.Im running ofna lx1 shocks on mine now(4).

I have a terra crusher, and if it wasn't for the power puff girl .18 motor it would actually be pretty sweet...

Hi y'all,
I've seen the 3.3 tmaxx in action here and it is a pretty damn good machine, everything including the reliability of engine, the mechanics, the suspension etc. It seems to be a lot more fun and less maintenance than the slightly smaller engine/2WD nitro rustlers. Been looking at the Revo and like it, are the mechanics/engine/transmission/suspension on the Revo identical to the Tmaxx, is the main difference really just cosmetics because I want to get a Revo but want something as good mechanically as the Tmaxx. thanks for the input.
