Beautiful plane! I wish my father still had the kit that I won for him at a pattern contest back in the 80's

IMHO, one of the sexiest classic pattern planes ever produced. I would like to see, frequent flyer get the fuse so he could make a mold of it, if he hasn't already. This one is high on my list to build.

Just as a side note Kitty Hawk Models did most of the glass work for GreatPlanes. Years ago I picked up a GP Cap 20L and needed the cowl and canopy, I saw a small add in RCM that KHM offered the parts I needed. When I called and ordered I learned that they did GP's glass work.

hello, I have a skynight 6 but no plans can you tell me where I can get a copy? or all I need is the cg. point, and incidence of the wing and stab if any. I believe the engine is zero. I need to know the dihedral of the wing and anihedral of the stab. any help would be GREATLY appreciated. thanks and GOD BLESS!!

Morefun, I have a Skynight 6 deluxe kit. I'm not sure if I have it locally or stored at another place but I can check when I get home this weekend. If you can be patient I can try and get some info to you (I believe the plans and instructions are both in the box). By the way, Paul Clements used to frequent our pattern contest (RC3 of south suburbs near Chicago), his S-6 was quite nice!

yes I still love the old classic pattern planes. been flying them since I was 18 in 1970 with proline radios, and still have them. but as stated before I am in bad need of some info off of the plans that is not on in the instr. sheets. like the cg and incidence of the wing if any and dihedral. but definitely the anihedral of the stab, and dihedral if any. I would hate to crash the plane because of the wrong cg. but a good person hook57 from the the upper blog here said he might be able to help me, I'm sure wishing so. or if someone else pops up with some info for me!! I will be modifying it to a taildragger, webra 80 racing FIRE engine inverted with a tuned pipe, electric retracts, dual servos mounted in the wing at midpoint of ailerons and pearl white red and blue color scheme. it will be nice right beside my phoenix 8, but a lot faster with the long stroke 80 in it. hope I get some info. thank you much! GOD BLESS!!!

Okay Morefun, here's what's on the plans. C of G is 7" aft of the leading edge measured from the fuselage/wing bulkhead aft. Dihedral is 3/4" under each wing tip, or 1 1/2" under one tip. If you use anahedral, a note on the plans states 10 degrees per stab half (20 degrees total) worked best. Let me know if you need the gear/retract locations for retracts or the gear blocks. If you want, I can scan the instructions and email those to you. I will also try to take pics of the plans for you if you'd like. I've never taken anything out of the box on the S-6, I guess I didn't realize how nice this one kit is! Specially for an $80 swap meet find! Hope this helps morefun.
