RE: Rccanada
Hi,
There is a problem at R C C, here are a couple of links for threads here where others have are discussed the problem. Add your own comments to bring the threads back to the top so others can see what is happening.
Read through the threads and you see many comments reagarding how petty the site has become, it is no longer a friendly place for Canadian modellers to meet and express their views. It has very quickly started to lose its usefulness and people are moving away from the site.
I think they depend upon the member numbers to attract advertisers, I bet they have not removed your name from the member list, but just limited your access to the site. This way they can say they have this many people on their member list. You may want to ask them to remove your name from the member list and your posts.
Here are the links:

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_98...m.htm#10108581.
If you find that you really still want access, I've been told this works: go to another computer, make another email account in gmail or hotmail and sign in under another name. I think most of us are not interested in doing this nor upporting the site any longer.

Better be careful with the finger pointing sebhitman or Hyabusafmw or sebastien^_^ or whatever other alias' that you have. Sure wouldn't want someone to copy and paste some of your emails that you sent the owner of RCCanada onto this site now would you!
Oh, and RCC is running just fine without you!

Trying to rebuild the burnt bridges is commendable but will probably take some time to do.

Someone just sent me this link http://www.rccanada.ca/rccforum/showthread.php?t=131099
He was telling me how this "Props" system works, others get to rate the value of your contribution and if you get enough negatives you can get banned. Looks like a proper popularity contest. A quick look at one of the biggest contributors, Gaston, aka gbjets and his topic "Blue Foamy" he has one positive prop. I wonder if RC Rick and his Brown Shirts give each other plenty of props and hugs. AHH the warm fuzzy feelings on RCCanada eh?
