Default Lauterbacher Super Sprint LS3

What can I say, I was looking for a Lauterbacher and came across this and the darn Losi was taking to long to come out! This thing is incredible, just came in today from the UK. I thought at first that there was nothing in the box considering this thing is alloy I thought the box would be heavier, but as you can see she was in there.. Extremely light and extremely well built, it'll be about a month before she's ready for the road. I got a RS-5 titanium on-road pipe, HARM on-road airbox, and a Abbate G260 motor coming from Stegy that should be here in the next few weeks! Going to go with all Savox serovs for both throttle\brakes and steering. Once it's done I don't know how often I'll be driving it, it's just too damn perfect! I'll list the equipment and upgraded parts later. It also came with a brand new set of alloy rims and new tires.

Ihave seem you post photo of Lauterbacher car. I am curious. When you receive this car, it's already assembly (without enigne, exhaust pipe, air bix ...) or you did assembly. If they can do assembly, I would like to order one.

Hello,

I purchased this from a seller in the UK, he only had one of these. I believe if you buy them directly from lauterbacher they are in kit form.

Agreed... Once the rest of the parts get here I'm sure I'll change my mind..BUT since it's about to become cold as heck here in the northeast she can sit on the shelf until next spring..hehehe

The Lauterbacher cars are avsome peices of engineering, with quality in every detail! I have an old L3 Evo and it's a beauty too, though it's an old one compared to the SS. Strangely nobody seems to compete with the Lauterbachers any more, I don't know why..? They were very popular 10 years ago.

I would not recommend using the alloy wheels for driving, save them for the winter storage on the shelf and use the standard plastic wheels for racing (GRP or PMT). The plastics are probably lighter and definitely a lot cheaper to replace when you crash.

Have fun with the car, and pay attention to details when it comes to the setup, that is the key to enjoy it! But I guess you already knew that.

I just sent an email to the place where I got it from, hopefully he'll get back to me. I do remember him saying this was the last of them and he paid around 250GBS for it.[X(]

Thanks! I have no intentions on running with those rims and tires- WAY too nice.. The car did come with some slicks and plastic rims which I'll put to good use..

those ferrari bodies are worth their weight in gold...iknow the fg 360 bodies (now no longer made) go for 400+ bucks if you can find one.
