how can i fix the steer slop in my hpi sprint??

Default how can i fix the steer slop in my hpi sprint??

hi ive had my car for a week now and have noticed the steering is sloppy when i accelerate esp on the left front side, ive had a good look and i think its coming for the rod ends where there not quite tight enough or they dont fit 100% snug?? does anyone know how i can fix this or if they do better rod ends?? any helpwould be great

Look in the official hpi sprint 2 thread on page 45, It's all there explained very well by uncle vinnie.

RPM ball cup's take alot of the slop away. I also have a spring under the middle tie rod. the spring pull's the steering in tight while the tie rod is pushing the steering apart giving me super tight steering.

I use RPM ball cups on all of my 1/10 cars. I also use Lunsford Ti ball studs too on some of my better cars, they do not wear out at all.
