JR 1222x receiver question
Hey guys been trying to gt my skymaster F 18 ready for maiden, still having issues, on my forth evo multifunction valve (pressure sensors faulty) probably gonna switch to electric like fenderbean. My question is my second jr 1222X powersafe receiver may be bad .first one i sent back to horizon and they replaced it with a new one. wanted to know about the battery circuit , i have 2 fully charged electro dynamic 4600 a123 nano packs plugged in to the receiver and both lights are on but when I disconnect one battery i loose receiver power then plug it back in and disconnect the other side and have power. I understand about the switching circuit but doesnt seem correct to me . seems odd that i have both receivers doing the same thing. Has anyone heard of this issue cause i dont want to chance it. Thanks, Bill

Man still having issues? If you need to use my valve to get airborne go for it. Hey are you go to pen jets this weekend?
Do you happen to a failsafe switch your not using I could buy?

Bill, according to JR you have a faulty receiver, if you read the instruction book for the 1222 receiver it states:
the next paragraph is:
Using One Battery
The PowerSafe allows the option of using one or two battery packs. When using one battery, simply plug the battery into either one of the two battery connectors (BATT 1 or BATT2). Be sure to secure the unused battery connector. Note that the open contacts of the unused battery are not back powered (not electrically hot), however, the unused connector should be secured to prevent it from entangling during flight. When the system is powered using one battery, a single blue LED will constantly emit when the system is powered.

the next paragraph is:
Using Two Batteries
The PowerSafe offers a true redundant dual battery system. When using two packs, if one should fail (open circuit, short circuit or becomes fully discharged), the other battery will provide power to the system. When using dual batteries, it’s recommended that both batteries be of the same capacity and ideally of the same age/ previous profile. When using two batteries, the total available capacity equals the sum total of both batteries (BATT1- 2000mAh + BATT2- 2000mAh = a total capacity of 4000mAh).

Yea , the batteries make the cg correct , KC I saw that in the Manuel guess I was in denial lol . Getting tired of sending these electronics back , The first new receiver I sent back was returned stating they could not find any problem so I sent it back and they replaced it with a new one , now this one is doing the same thing . Oh well . I'm gonna try and be in pcola Saturday morning for the event .

RE: JR 1222x receiver question
Yep and its bad also , pressure shows 180 psi , so the failsafe won't operate . Todd says they are redesigning the valves . I'm giving up on these valves , maybe going to down and locked .
