tell us about the carb manifold blocks, and have you started your motors yet, i know its supposed to be better to have the carbs close to the piston, but i wonder how much it REALLY maked a difference, or is it pretty much a just on paper thing?

Hi Tom, we had started the engine with similar desigh before. No obviously difference.
Anyway, will post ongoing status when start the engine with current design.

wow is all I can say...thats beautiful! Are the carb manifolds and the plates used to tie the two motors together parts that can be bought or are those one off custom pieces? I would love to do a twin setup like this with a pair of Zenoahs!!

I got the STD boat from Expresscraft/Tom and paint job from Doug/Oversprayer.com. The Tramax units and clutch came from RCMK. And custome built electrical starter with whole engine combination here in Taiwan. Last week, I just got the custom electric starter circuit module from a firend and can remote control electric starter from third channel. Attached pictures for your reference.

i saw your video on the dock if you can post it hear as well, im glad to see you have it running would like to see a video of the moters starting just on the bench would be cool, you have one of a kind we all want to see,

Hi Bono, amazing job and great quality parts. Can i ask you two questions, 1 - how do you work with an only full tank? i have the same and everybody here recommended me that if i use the wd200 full tank i should use two, one for each cylin.how is your configuration? 2 - i'm having nightmares about how i'm going to to install the rcmk drives, the position is ok, but the distance between the drives? the owner of the apache amg told me the that in his boat the distance is 85mm from the center of one hole to another, what do you think?

Hi Mario,
The best way shall be use two fuel tank/bag for two cylinder. But one tank to split to two cylinder still work fine.
I also have question for the distance between two drives, I refer to the gear box that came from MTC, MHZ, the distance between two two drives is 80mm, In order to avoid prop affect to each other then I go for 90mm eventually.

Thanks bono for answer me, so you think 90mm is better than 85? what proppellers are you going mount? i was thinking on a three-bladed 70 or 76 mm, (two counter rotaitng) it can be good for my big apache?

Thanks bono, another question if you don't mind, what are you goung to use to steer the drives, an interesting solution could be a single servo super torque (35 kgs) located in the middle of the rc box....look drawing

That's exactly what I want to do. But I will use Futaba super torque brushless digital servo(35kg) for it. Will post photos when available.
