Default TT01 Question

Hey guys,
Im new to RC Drifting. I just bought a TT01 to try it out. I bought it from eBay and its missing a radio, servo, and battery. I was wondering if i could use this:www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p

The car comes with the Silver Can motor and Tamiya ESC if it makes a difference.

Thanks!

yes that would work fine. its just basic rx/tx and servo. but might i recomend getting a better rx/tx, there is a traxxas 2.4gh combo on the classifieds for i think $45.

Thanks for the reply! But I JUST bought another radio literally like 20 minutes ago lol. I went with a FlySky FS-GT3B. 3 Channel, 2.4ghz and has excellent reviews. Now I need a servo and battery lol.

i recently got the gt3b and its sweet! undoubtedly the best for the price, only problem i have had is slamming the brakes on too hard and snapped the trigger (part already on its way from china though)

good range, couldnt even tell what direction my tt01 was facing haha!

id probably just get a traxxas 7075 servo, also good bang for buck!!

thanks for the replies!
I actually have an old Team Associated RC10GT that has 2 S1903 servos in that I think might work. If not i'll go to my LHS and pick up a servo.
Any recommendations for a battery? I was looking at www.ebay.com/itm/330643925092 orwww.hobbyworks.com/default.cfm/Content/fullproduct/hs/rc/ID/468874

id use the one out of the GT, they will work fine for now, i have an RC10GT myself and i took the servo out of that whilst i was waiting for a new one to come! if in the future you feel like you need faster steering then go for a high torque/high speed servo!

as for batteries, the one you were looking at on ebay will be fine, the higher the Mah the longer it will last!
