Hey all. I called castle on Friday and asked them if it was okay for me to go ahead and merge/solder my ESC and motor wires on the SCT mamba, and they told me that it was totally fine. I did it, and now when I turn my sc10 on and hit the throttle, it goes in reverse. What could the issue be?

If you have a Futaba controller, throw the throttle REV switch in reverse, and then re-calibrate your esc.

It sounds like you just got two of the wires mixed and and soldered them backwards. it will still run just fine. you can program your esc to reverse the polarity also if you don't want to unsolder/resolder. it won't hurt anything to run it like this.

colors only mattr if ur doin a sensord setup. unsoldr reverse 2 wires & resoldr.

or thru castle link on ur pc, u cood revers da motors rotation. but xerxes wood jus soldr revers & resoldr.

Thanks guys. Reversed the polarity. Now off to change oil in my duffs. Forgot what a pain it is to access the diffs in this car!
