Can't afford nitro. And the neighbors already complain about dogs barking (luckily I don't have one). They would KILL me if I had a nitro buggy.

I like my ve8 till I sold it! Even though its all composite in the chassis, it was super durable with the aluminum skids added!!!

The Mugen MBX6 eco and the Xray XB808e, there isn't much else that can touch them for quality tbh. the Losi and AE stuff is good too, but not quite as good.

Check out this crazy dude...give it some time, he gets faster and faster as the vid goes on.

Check out the KYOSHO MP7.5 VE, also a good buggy.
The Mugen MBX6 eco is also a great electro/nitro buggy.

We run a Caster F8T. I don't think Caster sells that model anymore but, they have other good models. I feel that the Caster 1/8th scale is better built than most of the other major brands that we carry.

Nitro Sucks.

With that said I prefer the Mugen MBX6 Eco and the Hot Bodies Ve8.

Electrics have no soul....but damn there is no dening the power of the brushless lipo stuff, guess they are just ...evil !

I went with the Hyper 9e, very reasoinable price and they are good performers.

I had the picco power Nitro H9 first and went with the 9e because it makes keeping spares for both very easy

Caster Racing EX1.5R is a very nice buggy. Caster people have their own forum and hang out at a different forum, so not a lot of action here. They are more of a reasonably priced race machine with tons of aluminum upgrades included out of the box. They are also a 2 pack setup so they are much more balanced than the Mugen and some of the other single pack conversions and cars.

Nitro has too much soul for me. My driving conditions each year can range from 80*F at sea level to 100*F at 5000 feet to 7(rarely)-25*F at 5000 feet. It seems to me that I would be constantly tuning

Thanks for all of the suggestions. And FYI, I do not hace anything against nitro, I just cannot run a noisy car in our populated neighborhood.

i live in a populated area like probably over 80% of the people on here. i own many nitro cars & my neighbours have never complained!

however i doubt they can hear them from the track

these buggys are made for the dirt & jumps of the track, not just spazzing around in the street

E buggies I've had the eight, rc8, 808 and by far my top pick is the 808 it's the only car I've found that I can slide into the turns as quickly as I need to with out even loosing the rear end I LOVED IT but since the local track is on the slow side I decided to sell out, I drove a serpent 811 nitro and that's it was fantastic, if I was going to get back into it I'd like to try the serpent 811 e
