Default stripping gears?

There is something in the mini 8ight the is kinda getting annoying. It kind of sounds like the gears are stripping but only in acceleration. How do I fix this?

Default RE: stripping gears?

that could be a number of things but i would first check the gear mesh between the pinion gear and the spur

If your gear mesh is set correctly, the noise is probably the dog bones hitting the outdrives when you accelerate. Mine sounds similar, but my gears are in perfect condition. You can try to soften the noise with some shrink tube around the dog bones to make them fit more snug in the outdrives. Or just wait for cvd's.
