HL M41 Walker Bulldog light problems
Hey folks! My Heng Long M41 is acting wierd.
About an hour ago, the two rear lights and the foward headlight would flicker randomly, and go on and off as the tank jostled around. 5 minutes later, they went out and stayed out. So, I cracked the thing open and had a look. None of my possible solutions worked- there were no shorts, cuts, or missing wires. I cant figure out what the heck is happening!
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

It is an RX18. Everything else works. Here is something I discovered- when the little two pin connector for the rear lights is disconnected, the headlight still works. As soon as I connect it, the headlight goes out, the brake lights do nothing, and the mg light becomes the new rear light. Odd.

Well if its just the lights it should be easy to trace out. It may just be a wire some where that has come unsoldered and is grounding out. Ive heard of some soldering issues on some HL tanks...meanwhile enjoy the fact it still runs.

RE: HL M41 Walker Bulldog light problems
Thanks guys. My grandfather has quite the tool kit, and was once a tank commander himself. I am going out to his house tomorrow and will give it a look then.
Meanwhile, I am going to go run over some stuff. Hardcover books are mighty nice
