Sportwerks Recoil Fans?
As you should know, Sportwerks is no longer. Parts support will be gone after this year. If you like this car then there is good news though! Carisma RC makes this car in another country, called the GT14. They have more option parts than Sportwerks ever had. Unfortunately it is very difficult to find parts here in the US.
Horizon Hobby currently carries one of the cheaper Carisma models already, called the M14. Myself and several others that do not want to see the Recoil disappear have been trying to get Horizon to pick up the full Carisma lineup. This will mean your Recoil can be back out on the track smoking RC18Rs and Detta TCs.
If you are a fan of this car please help us by emailing this guy at Horizon. He has stated that he will pass on the word, but it will take a pretty big amount of demand for them to pick up the full line of Carisma RC cars.

RE: Sportwerks Recoil Fans?
Hi burnineyes
There dose'nt appear to be much interest on this forum. But I can tell you that recieved an email from Ivan Cheung of MA Toys/Carisma telling me that the noegotiation between them and Horizon regarding expanding the Carisma line which would include the GT14 is very positive and moving forward. So I thought that I would pass on that piece of good news!

RE: Sportwerks Recoil Fans?
Carisma GT14 4wd is the same as the recoil. They are selling those with parts support. We have a class for those at my LHS.
Also this [link=http://prolineracing.com/bodies/ford-f-150-raptor-svt-clear-body-16revo]Proline[/link] body fits the recoil chassis really good. It fits really good but im still holding out for a used BMW M3, Nissan GTR or Subaru body

RE: Sportwerks Recoil Fans?
I got my Spechett edition new, built it and the class folded, they went off road. traded it back and forth with a friend for a couple of years. neither of us ran it much. just a lap or 2 around the house. lol I was thinking of throwing a dirt modified body on it, some guys are racing them indoors on concrete. thats why i'm trying to find parts.
