Stillno info on the CF tubes, TNT is still waiting for their shipment from their new supplier. I'll give them a call next Friday and hopefully they will have them in and be able to give us pricing.

Went to our club winter banquet last night and won the grand door prize, a BALSA USA1/4 scale Piper J-3 Cub 108'' wing span, 20 to 30cc gas engine just what I need another project to try to get done by spring. The SukHoi ,a couple of combat planes, set up two 40 sizeplanes that I bought at the fall auction and now this PiperCub. The guy's were giving me crap that the winner of the grand prize kit is suppose to maiden it on our clubs winter project fly off this spring. That's not going to happen this will most likely be a next winter project. I have some Honey do thinks to get done in the nextcouple weeks or so and after that I hope to start putting the SukHoitogether.
P.S.Called TNT Friday again on the CF tubes and got the same answer they still didn't get them in.

Not sure how many of you know this but Nitroplanes has since upgraded the main wing tube to a 38mm tube (45.5" long)... it is no longer a 25mm tube... even though the manual I received still says 25mm tube... go figure! I got this plane on sale last month for $289 + s/h ($45 I think it was). Oh... also, according to the manual, it shows a split landing gear assembly... they since updated to a beefier one pc. landing gear. Good upgrades in my eye. http://www.nitroplanes.com/su26100cc101.html
I will be outffiting this with the largest brushless HobbyKing makes ( http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=14427 ), and plan to use four 5000maH 6s packs (10,000maH, 12s2p config.), a HV160 ICE controller and a 3 bladed 28x10 CF Mejzlik prop.

I wonder if the airframe is beefed up a little better for the landing gear. good to hear from ya Zed have you been flying much how has your back been holding up. Jim is trying to sell his Sukhoi and he seems to have hung up the planes for the fishing poles for almost a year know. I'm still flying the five forty size and the one ninety size biplane, I still haven't started my Sukhoi yet. The only think I've found time to build is my combat planes. Terry

Hey Terry !!! Good to here from you again !!!
Yep been flying still, actually went to a fly-in this weekend and had some fun...
The back doing much better since I had my second surgery and went ahead with the full fusion...my leg still bothers me a little but nothing like before and only when I sit for too long or try to pick up something too heavy...other than that I've been doing alright and thanks for asking...

Glade to here your back is doing good Zed and still flying. My sister that lives down in your area says you guys broke a record for the longest stretch of days without rain. That means you only had to deal with it being to windy to fly that helps thechances to getout and fly. The last time I posted on Jim's thread he said he is still trying to sell his Sukhoi and that he hasn't flown anything since I thinkFeb. last year. That Bass Tracker boat he bought consumes most of his time. Keep themflying and in one piece.Terry
