hound54 nice find, are u planing to race it???

I like the EZ run combos, because for me they are cheap, I dont have the outlay for a full combo, I get say the ESC one fortnight then the motor the next.. keeps the wife happy too

Dont stress about getting a bad one, they have a warrenty, and the only problem ive had in 5 years, if one that is 5 years old the fan was getting very slow, but the upgrade yeah racing 30mm tornado fan fixes that... (highly reccomend those fans for anything... watch there youtube clip)
mind u for about a month i ran my slash with the fan not working proplary after 10min or so it would cut out(over heat protection) then after 1min or so would kick in again it was a cycle for a while. tuff little thing, well at least i know the heat protection works with out any damage

the main issue is people over gear them, but in a 2wd slash with SCT tyres u dont really have to worry about that.
In some of the other threads about other cars im active in, I havent seen any unhappy customers yet, only random stories on the net with no credit

If you are running mostly street and not jumping the roof of your house, I would say 50w front 35-40w rear

Mostly  in home depot parking with street fighters and dollar store orange pylons
I was running 40 all around but I just might try that it can't hurt
It's just me and two other guys late night fun

From a post I made on the previous page....

ORIGINAL: OddsNEnds

I have the ThunderTech Racing Outlaw Pro Chassis.... Love it! Onroad and offroad (dirt, clay, prepped surface), no more rollovers.... Bashing in a grassy park is still a little touchy making turns and bicycling sometimes or rolling. But, it's way better than stock. This thing jumps real nice and tracks straight. The Outlaw Pro is a fiberglass chassis.

The one difference between the Pro and the standard is that the top plate is cut out on the Pro to lighten it. It's the same design otherwise from what I understand. You'l enjoy that chassis.

Proline and JConcepts makes bodies that will resist that parachuting effect.

If I'm not mistaken I'm running 30wt all around. But, that is not always the best set up. It was just convenient at the time.

Humm I would only go 30wt in the front with the single hole piston otherwise 40-60 range

I'm running f:50wt r:60wt with RPM twin pistons.. Works for me

so i went with 45 all around but it is a little to thick for me ....but it could be cuz it is cold out.it might be a good choice when the summer rolls around though. i think it was 30 in them before i broke them down cuz it was pretty runny.and from what i could tell it handled better with the light weight oil.now its stiff as a board so i geuss 30 will be going back in,the ride was just by the look of it way more moveable and just worked better with the 30
oops starting ranting lol

Seriously??? Mine is the opposite?

I even found my front wouldn't pack and would dip into corners... And the rear was constantly bottoming out and had hardly any oversteer traction, and I'm a basher

That's odd, where are u driving it?

IMO they have the soft oil so when it's jacked up with the shocks bolted to the inner holes it looks cool and has heaps of un needed suspension travel to impress, not really good performance wise

My and my buds just make a simple L shape track with little orange cones in like super market or shopping center parking lots...mind you it is winter here. And maybe the oil is cold and stiff.plus I just got the truck together and needs to be tuned

nice that turned out really well.

Its been very hot here lately so ive made some scoops for the ESC & Fan, just need to fix them in better

Hows after I went for a bash to test it out, rolled it into a curb.... hard

All i think what would of happened to a body if I was running one, would of cracked for sure...
well after some bashing with a hammer and a punch, looks like new, just needs a coat of paint. If anything its straighter now than it ever was lol
