Has anyone noticed USPS tracking service running strangely?
out of several packages i have ordered over the last few weeks and 3 have ended up out for delivery" in other states, then the next day or two they are in the destination state... one package i shipped off took 3 weeks to get to its destination

USPS is circling the drain financially - news articles are easy to find. This causes their service to be less than stellar. Many sorting facilities are being closed and certain areas and routes will be serviced less often.
I have switched to Fedex and UPS only when I order products and items as USPS is too unreliable. Not only have shipments arrived very late, often parcels have been ruined by rough handling. Don't ever try claiming from them for losses, ask me how I know....

True, I just sent a Carb to a guy 80 miles south of here,, he told me the box was trashed, but luckily it's a dirt bike part and tough.
This is the 600 mile trip it went on?????

heres another example.... it says expected delivery date Feb 6....... It departed Florida the 30th or so and arrived in the destination state today(texas)... yet it wont arrive till late next week... thats screwed up

You not the only one i mailed several packages out since christmas one took a week and a half to arrive at its destination when it was shipped priority. And another the package was cut open coming from distributor then retaped.

On the other hand, I shipped some parts to Cali, and they got there in 3 days, looks like everything I ship goes through PA now??

I frequently receive packages before the tracking site even acknowleges that the postal service even have them.
