Default Painting the outside of a body? Tips?Ideas?Thoughts?

I painted my R/C body recently.I painted the outside of it,I am pleased with how it turned out.I was told by many people that it would not turned out good at all.Im just looking for some more thoughts on it

Just wait till you wreck and the paint scatches and starts flaking off the body.

I never heard anyone say it wouldnt turn out but what do you think is gonna happen when it gets hit???

I was told by alot of people the paint wouldnt stick and it would come right off the first time i wrecked it (t9dragon).Ive wreck it a couple times already and I dont see any differeance from the paint being on the outside than the inside
