Aileron Gap seal
I'm looking for the mylar Gap Seal that I used to buy from Northeast Sailplane Products. They don't seem to be functioning. Any ideas?

RE: Aileron Gap seal
You can always cut a 3/4" strip of monokote, score a line 1/4" in from one edge (very lightly) and fold/seal sticky side to sticky side. Now you have a 1/2" strip with a 1/4" strip of adhesive on one half of one side. Your control surface will never stick to the overhanging bit since it's folded over. They do make a difference. Had one come off in a dive and the model yawed through 15 degrees initially

all I use these days is blenderm..i've used it on high perf slopers, sailplanes, electrics, i also add a CA hinge at tip and middle of aileron but blenderm only for elev..it was a matter of all I had and everything else was hard to get..easy to come off and redo after a season of flyin, which is about a year at a time..the two easiest things to get are CA hinges and blenderm.I had them on planes I DS also..
