Default Losi Starter Box issue

1st time attempting to start the car and the box quits. Here is a photo of my problem. The wheel is hitting the spur gear in there. I'm usually pretty good about figuring things out but I can't see any way to adjust this.

I thought all Losi boxes were dual motor. What model is this box?

Hard to tell from the pic. Isn't there supposed to be a pinion gear on the motor shaft?

Yes there is. I took the whole thing apart last night and put it back together. It's barely touching right now and starting the car just fine. I did go to a LHS and pick up the Ofna which is still in the box. The way I see it may as well have both. Car can only be started one way so if 1 fails a backup is good to have.
