Default RC for my old man...

Basically my dad has been fooling around with my E-Firestorm, (which has a SV2 Sidewinder and 4600kv motor) and now he has decided he wants a RC for himself. He wants something thats near enough as quick as mine, but doesnt want to spend mega bucks on it. Ideally no more than £250 (about $390), we have found the Losi Speed-T RTR truck, and also the Associated RC10T4.1 RTR, what do you guys think of these two trucks? And also how much quicker/slower would these be against my E-Firestorm? If anyone has any better cars, then please let me know
Thanks

The Associated T4.1 is the best bang for your buck. Very nice truck with a huge following and a nice brushless system. It may be a little slower than a firestorm stock, but you could gear it up some probably have have it about the same, or run 3s with stock gearing. The Speed T is an ok truck. Its just a modified losi XXX-T, but the T4.1 would be my preference.

Flux system is a rebadged castle Sidewinder. It would be the same truck as yours. Not that is a bad thing unless he wants to mix it up.

The XS wouldnt as fast and handling is better on the firestorm but you will expact less broken parts and itsbashing ready. Not sure how fast you really want it but with 2S lipos I find the XS fast enough.

T4.1 $250 or less RTR, can't beat it. Me and 6 of my friends ALL have them and run them almost 2 hours twice a week with lots of bashing and have a ball, can't hardly break them ! Ton of FUN !
