I thought I'd avoid this garbage by getting away from clubs.  Apparently not.

Y'all have fun discussing what you perceive to be the problems with an aircraft you've never seen.  I'll handle the actual issue(s) with the supplier in the appropriate manner.

I am not sure if you are talking to me, or about me. I was going to offer my findings to ya.

Man...tough crowd.

I didn't see ANYTHING for Gboulton to get so pissy about. I guess I missed something. There is drama everywhere you go, I guess.

Mhm. I didn't see anyone suggesting anything remotely like what they perceive to be a problem with it. The closest anyone came was my post where I merely mentioned it wouldn't bother me at all, and that's not suggesting what might or might not be wrong with it in any way either.

Post more pics!

LOL I try not to say much. Why I have my signature below Maybe its just missplaced anger for what he paid for and what he got. But, thats the problem with most ...foreign...made things Not naming any country's...cough cough china cough cough [X(]

Maybe after his issues with the kit are resolved, and sees we werent really bashing him, he will be back

Was going to do some glassing on that Jet Ive been building, but dangggggg. 20 mph wind and 27 deg outside...me thinks my feet are staying by the fireplace lol.

Some things are just better left unsaid.

Hey Jamie, in this weather, you could always tote the plane up to that fireplace along with your feet. lol The wife dislikes the one I have on the dining room table. I'm afraid if I tried to bring one over to the fireplace it would probably end up firewood when I wasn't looking!

Don't know where I've been but just seen the post today and looks like a good idea to get the Ky/Tn guys talking to see what is happening. I have been working on a ESM FW190 and a RC Guys Cessna this winter and hope to get some parts at the Perry Ga. swap meet next month to finish them up. I will be putting on a Dawn Patrol event this summer and will have an attachment so you all can see when it is. There are several of us that travel to event/fly-in's so send me fliers or info and we will attempt to come.

Haha, yeah. The weather snapped cold again. I woke up to a light dusting of snow on the grass and the hood of my truck yesterday morning. Needless to say my plans for running my touring car were shot down, the cold I can stand but the winds not so much. I'd have to stop and grab the cylinder head every couple of minutes

Me either. I'm itching to get down there and get my trainer in the air, but the gas investment is keeping me from just randomly popping by on a whim.

Retiring my Hobby Lobby B25 before it gets trashed lol. Just gonna hang it up for display. Taking the engines and speed controls off and putting them in a couple of planes Im building from a kit from a guy in Florida. He laser cuts them his self. Im just about finished with one Im building for him. Ill post some pictures as soon as this thing will accept them lol been trying to post this for several times now. Its 50" wing span with a high lift wing for STOL. He calls it the Stollite. Fully loaded, 1.75 lbs and they are using them to tow up 100" gliders. Dont know what motor or battery he is using. Im just gonna fly mine for fun. Probably have mine ready in couple weeks for maiden. My son gets the other one. Will keep you guys posted.

I paid for tables, but, found out I wasnt going to get to go. So I sold my tables to WD40 here on RCU. He is from Murfreesboro. There are few guys in my club that are going. I used to make it every year. But, getting too expensive to make the trip lately. With gas expecting to be at or over $4.00 a gallon by then, Just too expensive.

Thanks WBG, just thought I would check. There are 6 of us coming down with a trailer and this is about the only way we can afford the trip is with several guys chipping in for gas. I was not able to go last year because of money shortage so I know how it is.
