RE: Insane 370 Motor
Id also really like to know more about needing a new pinion gear, and if so, which one do you need? I just ordered the insane 370 motor, after reading multiple replies saying you just drag and drop, and now it requires something else to use? I had to cancel my brushless setup because losi's esc/reciever is one unit. So I would also have to buy a new tx/rx.
Considering the other problems Ive had with losi, this is my last Team Losi branded truck.

RE: Insane 370 Motor
BTW yes you need a new pinion gear, the stock shaft is 2.3mm, the 370 is 2mm. I bought the insane 370 motor, it requires a pinion gear with a hex screw to lock it in place. I have it installed, ran it a couple times. Its faster then the stock one but its still kinda meh, atleast until I pick up a Lipo setup, which I hope to have soon because the insane motor cuts the runtime down by half on the stock battery.
