SUPER-V

Well I figured it was time for a change , I purchased this boat on ebay with an ok paint job but it was faded and I wanted something a bit nicer. I got in touch with Oversprayer (Doug) on this forum who just happens to be 3 hrs. north of me a real standup guy who does excellent work. I did'nt want anything too fancy cause I race this boat so I decided on the Geico theme & I did like the tribal style flames the boat had before so I decided to incorporate some in the new paint scheme. While the boat was down for paint and was all apart anaway I decided to try my hand at some polishing , here's the finished product.

Wow! There's no excuse for someone not seeing that boat on the water in a heat race! I should have put on shades before enlarging the shots!

It looks good!! this thing has come a long way! LOL. It was pretty rough when I got it but it is definetly a looker now. Everything on this boat is paint except the Amsoil logos. even the hatchs are paint.Cant wait to see the action photos.

Thanks for all the comments this was my first try at polishing , got a few tips from my buddy and bowored his stand up buffer , it's very addictive anything aluminum can polish out like chrome. Brass , bronze and of course stainless also come out really nice . I polished all my props they came out awsome .Here are some before pics of the boat..........

Nice boat man. Are you gonna be in Brandon this weekend for the race? I wouldn't mind getting a closer look at it.
