got it last week. 5 tank break in ran good. ramped it off of an upside down bedliner on the ground (super sweet ramp btw) and it didnt stick the landing and cartwheeled across the yard.
NOW...i get really high rpms and truck bareley moves. some tips would be greatly appreciated. i dont know if i messed up the gear mesh or what. i just dont want to tinker on the engine and gears cuase i just got it and i want to be sure what to mess with first. thanks!

Hi rpms at idle? Check the carb. linkage, make sure the throttle trim is set correctly and go from there. if it's hi rpm idle it's either the trim or linkage took a hit and needs to be adjusted.

no not at idle. when i accelerate. sorry i should of made that clear. when i give it throttle it will move forward but to get any kind of speed it has to reach really high rpms, and even then its not moving very fast. during break in period the truck was QUICK. so thats why i think something has happened.

Ya you cartwheeld it LOL! Engine off does it roll without resistance? With radio and reciever on roll it a short distance while in motion pull the trigger/throttle. Did roll the same or did it roll easier when you hit the throttle? Check the brakes! Radio/reciever on engine running, truck on blocks off the ground. Look at the spur gear and clutch bell slowly hit the throttle. Whats going on?
