Thanks rhd any idea where I could find a spinner that would fit the engine without chasing parts[] I have heard of people using the skyshark spinner on the butcher but don't know if I will be chasing parts like I am now. I will see if I can find the link to the skyshark spinner.

Just drop 2 10oz tanks in, then you have enough of both!
Reducing the size of one tank wont help me. I wish could get a bigger tank in it, but I dont think a 10oz would do under my wing tube. I may try one anyway. Its worth a 6 buck try....

just thought about this though. Will having the fuel tank lower cause any issues with this engine?  Is the pump strong enough to pull fuel up a couple inces, or do I need to lift the tank up?

Thanks

It'll be fine, no need to lift it higher.

I know this is probably in the thread some where, but does anyone know what the Walbro replacement part number is? My butterfly plate came loose as well and rubbed some grooves in the housing. I'd like to replace it with a Walbro. Thanks.

Oh I can use that too for the Dewey. Never considered putting the servo arm at 0* to the carb.

Walbro carb equivalent for the DLE20 is WT793.

Thanks. That is what I needed. I've also checked my timing and it was well above 40* BTDC. I've got an old CH ignition testor. I belive I set the timing as soon as the light goes out. Please correct me if Im wrong. I had to move the sensor all the way to one end of the adjustment travel to even get it at 33* BTDC. I"ll have to modify the sensor holes to get it down to 28* BTDC. I have not ran it yet since I've adjusted it. Hope this will help with the midrange burble!!

Thanks agian. Looks like the magnet is past the sensor when spark occurs. So I believe I've set it up right. I just can't believe it was that far out from factory.

my dle20 was timed at 40 deg from the factory..... i later swapped out ignitions and used my back up Rcxcel ign and set the timing at 28 and it couldnt be any better

what i did have to do to the hall sensor was elongate the holes to shift(retard) the sensor over far enough to hit 28 deg

Yea, I think that is what I'm going to have to do. I'll give it a test flight and see how it behaves where its at, then go 28* and see how much it changes. Thanks.

Looks like I'm going to have to do the same. Thanks,.

Ya the multiple posts was happening because I kept getting the server error, but it never showed me it went through.

I just setup my plane, but didn't quite go to zero degree's. I did make the arms the same length on both carb and servo which seems to have helped alot. I will see when I run it in a day or so.
