Default Hungarian Ziroli Stuka

Recently compleated and have test flown another Ziroli 100"w/s JU-87B Stuka. As always I used a Zenoah G-62 modified by Cunningham and Spectrum radio gear. Wood , glassed and painted. As all Ziroli aircraft it flys effortlessly. Color scheme from Wings Pallette. Here's some photo's Stuka Jon

Yeah, but hes at the wrong angle. Johnboy, I thought I taught you better than that. That is a crazy paint scheme, looks great as usual. Are you using the wire gear or the oleo gear?

Hi Barry How are you doing, Yes the angle is wrong. No steep dives on the maiden flight. Wire gear , my last set. from that guy that used to be up in Mich. Been kind of slow in the Hobby, although I am repairing and refinishing a Z Corsair for a friend. When my Grandson went in the Marines I lost alot of my drive to build and fly. He kept me going for many years. Stuka Jon

I'm still alive, surviving the concrete jungle. I'll be getting with Forest the first weekend in April and doing our tandem Stuka flights. This is the 17th season on O'l Stukie. She's still kickin and screamin literally. I finally found a used but in great shape wire gear for the other Stuka. I'll probably have that one flying again in the summer. I've been pitling around with an ESM Stuka and hope to have it maiden in the next two weeks. Trust me, that thing is far from an Arf. I got a siren from JC Whitney and it seems to work well for an electric siren, I hope its loud enough at 1000 feet.Forest is really getting comfortable with the 335, it does fly well once its up to speed.

I know you asked John, but I use the CB Associates plastic cone metal base with great success. The come as blanks, but cutting them for props is very easy, two or three bladed. To paint them just scuff the gloss finish off them then prime and paint. It takes about an hour to cut a three blade. They aren't very expensive either.
