Sheesh...

Why do I just know the weather man is going to get it right this time and tomorrow will be crappy? []

Nope, wrong again! It's crystal blue skies, 59 degrees at 7:45am, 5mph wind, best day yet!

Latest photos show the blue skies and perfect weather! Gonzalo was the first turbine in the air with his Skymaster Viper jet.

Its raining back here with frontal passage. Be on the watch for your canopy and jets around 3pm(wind) but its a fast mover and will be out of there quickly.

Burned a total of 12 gallons of diesel on Thursday and Friday, K-170 #91E powering 1/6 F-16
Had great fun seeing everyone again! May I suggest a Buttonwillow Late Spring Fling?

Cheers,
Barry

David and the Buttonwillow crew: Thank you so much, this "fling" was awesome!!!!!

Yesterday was one my best flying days ever.... 14 flights, 8 on the electra 6 on the F100. Perfect weather, great bunch of people.

We definitely need to do this type of non event jet rallies more often. Zero stress, no noon shows, no awards, no nothing, just friends and fly and fly and fly

I'll post a couple of pictures later...

Jack

I just got home and I'm already missing the 'willow! I want to thank everyone for welcoming me back after a long winter without any jets. Can't wait to do it again!

Special thanks to Dave for letting me shack up in the RV and Doug for giving my 13 year old golden retriever the best meal of his life... carne and filet mignon. The good life!

You can upload photos from your computer to http://www.enthuzeus.com. It's a web app that I made especially for us to share event photos. The photos uploaded on Enthuzeus can be seen by guys on RC Jet Addiction and RCG too! Give it a try and let me know what you think.

We had too much fun so we stayed on Sunday. Where is everybody besides Dave Phillips, Dave Euse, George Manning, Paul Stenberg, and myself? Yes, Shaun showed up too.

Nice to see the old gangs out there.

I'd definitely like to thank the BARKS folks, Todd, Ricky, Mike and the rest for all the help and especially Mike for walking out to find the ejected canopy. Thanks guys!

glad to help Barry. Mike is always ready to help find peoples
parts when they fall off. We call him "bird dog"

Enjoyed watching you fly the F16 as well.

Was surprised when we got out there yesterday to clean up the field
you guys where still flying.............in the rain. Although light at the
time, it actually looked like a great time to be flying.

Glad you guys enjoyed the weekend
