Ijust got this vanquish boat. The motor is a kb45-10xl this is one big motor.
I am looking for imfo. on this motor. What prop to run and where to find a water jacket.
Any help would be great

Be carefull with this motor. Ihave personally owned one of these and they are not very efficient. Which means they tend to heat up quite easily and then burn up. Iwould start with a small prop and then keep a close eye on the temps for both the motor and the esc. Maybe start with an x440 or m440 and then run a few minutes and then prop up from there. Next would be x442 and then m445. You could also try and x640 and x642. If you keep the prop size down and not go for too much speed you might be able to make it work. Otherwise, you will need to consider a different motor and esc down the road.

Just got mine today - finish is very nice. Hull looks to be sturdy - no flexing. hardware seems to be good quality. Overall is is a pretty good bargain - $250 shipped from USA warehouse.

thats the other thing i dont understand its being shipped from usa but you still have to do customs claims etc and shipping is like they r sending from mainland china but its usually only about 5 or 6 days . but t thats good to hear that the hull is decent i have a pursuit from them but the glassing on the wood tray etc is very dodgy i may have to check one out one of these days.

The guy lives in USA 75 miles from me. I have ordered over 70 shipments from HK and never had to pay for anything but shipping from HK or USA warehouse.

I wish the US hobbyvenders would take advantage of their delivery time and lower their prices to compete before HK 's wharehouse USA is up and delivering "all" of our needs at rediculously low prices.

Hello All
You all have went away from my question about the vanquish in my post but thats no bbig deal. Ihave now bought a proboat. As far as shipping from hk i have bought 2 esc and batterys
from there us store and only paid shipping. I will be putting the vanquish up for sale soon. As far as hk there prices are good but there shipping is very slow. The usa store is alot faster.
