so far i have put new pins in my drive shaft and now it wont shift gears, also my servo saver needs to be ajusted any idea ho to do that, im running an xtm 457 with an xtm sure start and i need a replacement starter system

it may be stuck in second. Usually that happens from the adjustment screw falling out

OP when it doesnt shift that could mean somethings.

1) you could be running too lean that could cause the engine to suffer and it starts to cogg and wont let hit shift from the lack of fuel.
2) if you look on the side of ur truck there is a rubber plug that plugs ur tranny, take that off and liftthe truck off the ground and spin the supr gear, along the lines there comes 2 openings that align together. (i forgot how it works) but if you tighten it, that makes it shift sooner then later and if u loosen it, it will make the shift times longer.

I been good Moezer, getting ready to start race season with the D8T truggy.

If the engine is too rich the rpm's will never get high enough to spin the clutch hub in the trans and get it to engage.

slayers right, to rich or too lean will both result in no shift. the shift point is based on vehicle speed alone, if that speed isnt reached=no shift

Adjusting the 2-speed is a little tricky. First, as mentioned, remove the rubber plug on the tranny. Now, spin the spur gear until you see the little hole in the 2-speed where you took the rubber plug out. Now, while holding the spur gear, roll the truck forward. You will be looking for 2 little set screws. As you roll the truck forward while holding the spur (go slow) a first set screw will come along, then another one right after. The second one is what controls the shift point. You loosen this screw for earlier shifts, and tighten it for later shifts. Make sure your engine is in good tune though, because as mentioned, too rich or too lean could make it not shift.

The servo saver. You have to take off the front skid plate. If im not mistaken, i think there will be 10 screws. After thats off, you'll see the steering system. There will be two posts, one of them should have a spring on it with a knurled nut on the bottom. Loosening or tightening that knurled nut is how you adjust the tension of the servo saver. Be sure to use thread lock on the two machine screws that screw into the steering posts when you re-install the skid plate.

Not familiar with your starting system. You could try a pull-start, or maybe see if there's a Tigre-Drive available for your engine. Best of luck!
