RE: Bad News...
This is exactly why you should never fly at a park or school.....Oh I know it's 1 in a million....but wouldn't you hate to be that 1.
I can't imagine the grief involved on both sides of this....My prayers go out to all parties

That will NEVER happen. As soon as you make anything idiot proof, a better idiot will show up.

Roger that! I can't imagine how it feels to be on either side of that one.
Very sorry for her family.

It's the Daily Fails fault - not so much 'Bad News' as 'bad sensationalist journalism, bad website'.

I am intrigued, as much as I despise the Daily Mail, why is it their fault?
This is a story that they reported on originally and it would be possible to find it using their search function in a similar fashion to any other website.
Are you suggesting that they should have deleted the story from their records after a certain period of time?

Not at all - but if you follow the link there is no sign that it hasn't only just happened. Only todays date on the masthead, and current story teasers down the right hand side. Its very easy for someone to get confused and think it's a current story.
Not really responsible online news reporting is it?

Yes I see that the article isn't dated so if you were sent the link it could appear confusing.
The only way to find the story though clearly shows the date the article was originally printed.

Not really... Google 'hit by model plane' and it's the first result, with the comment 'one day ago'. That takes you to the linked page, dated today.

Thats sad and hate to here things like that happen. That is a pretty big plane to be flying at a park I would be scared to even fly one of my parkzone planes at a park just because of the fear of something going wrong and hurting someone. Man whats the odds of that happening wow still shocked to read this.
