Converting an OS 1.60 FX
Ihave an OS 1.60 FX that I have been thinking about converting to gas. Does anyone have some good information or part numbers for the parts Iwould need to do the conversion.

RE: Converting an OS 1.60 FX
You can get a conversion kit from ST Engines, here is a link http://www.stengines.com/store/index...od&productId=4 Comes out of Mexico and takes a couple of weeks to come through customs but seems to be a pretty good conversion.
The site seems to give you a bunch of jibberish but if you scroll down to the bottom of the page the details are there.

RE: Converting an OS 1.60 FX
I've converted a Saito 1.50 four stroke with ST Engines kit and it was easy to do. Engine runs fine but I haven't put it on a plane and flown it yet, still on the to do list. I have read that others have converted the OS 1.60 and that it works well but runs hot so you need to be careful on getting good airflow over the engine. I like the OS 1.60 on glow but it tends to run a bit hot there also so you have to be careful with your install. Keep us informed if you decide to do yours.
