I have a nearly finished P51 (100 inch span). I'm using a Zenoah G62 and the Bisson wrap around Pitts muffler won't fit. The gap between the engine and cowl is only about 3/4 inch. Hasanyone solved this problem?

Thanks Dan. The space between the engine and the cowl is only 3/4 inch at the nearest point. This one is 1.5 inches plus the mounting block. Also, not much hieght. I think I'm going to use the Bisson wrap around and have a welding friend cut the manifold down and grind a bit ot the mounting block away.

If you can't get the Bisson modified to fit, JTEC makes a low profile wraparound muffler for Mustangs that will work.
