Default Insane 1/5 scales with Big Blocks in them!!

The purpose of this thread is to talk about big block motors in 1/5 scale cars. I consider inline twins or any motor larger than 27cc as a big block. If you have a 1/5 scale with a big block in it would you share how you set it up what kind of tires you are using , what type of motor and post some pictures if you have any?

here is a picture of a FG with a BZM big block in it I think this prototype belongs to Maxit. He went 117mph with a 50cc BZM in a Baja.

That's my rally on the first picture there. I did not get the braking performance I hoped for, so I have now mounted hydrulic brakes on it. Still waiting for a guy to cut custom epoxy brake disc's in a water jet though..

Here is my build thread, I think the pictures will tell you more:

id question this, the motor is not mounted in the MCD, it's just laying next to it??? actually it is mounted with HPI baja rear section and clutch housing, I doubt this ever went into that MCD...

As for the FG with the BZM 50, do you have anymore pictures of it? would like to see the other side..

I am in the process of completing a fg 4wd baja competition with inline twin 57cc and dual VRC pipes, will get some pics as I complete the project.

Thanks

I don't think a twin will fit and if it was mounted it would be offset too much...

I am pretty sure it will fit and if it does not I will just put the motor in another car no big deal.

I wonder how long it will be before some one puts a 125cc shifter cart motor and tranny in a largescale landspeed attemp vehicle.
