RE: 'PROJECT' Quarterscale Pro Street Beretta
Thank You.
I now have the majority of the grill done.. I still need to cut & weld the 3/16'' x 1/4'' mounting tubes that will be placed in each inner corners of the grill.. Once i get that done I'll start muding all the seams and sanding them. That should give it that factory molded look.. then on to the front bumper & then hopefully I'll have enough material to get the side ground effects done.. I'll order more material if not.. then if all goes as planned I can get some mud on this thing..

You really had me engaged when you were updating on your work on the car, and was even waiting for the updates, but I don't feel like your latest projects belong in this particular forum. I am eagerly waiting for you to work on the Beretta again, and hope that your future updates on this particular thread actually pertain to it. You are an awesome craftsman and I think we are all ready to see you finish things up!

Thanks for the update, your attention to detail never ceases to amaze me! @ cuemando; [/b]yep, I'm serious. Call my bike what you want, but since I'm deployed to Afghanistan at the moment and can't work on my giant scale RC from here,QSPSB2[/b]'s build makes me feel not quite so far from home....

Thanks yam6.. I did forget to mention that I'm also working on the head light lenses... What a pain in the blank them were to form... There not done but they came out quite well first the first shot at forming them.. There constructed from plexiglass..

Wow i guess it has. Nearly a year. i forgot all about this thread.. Lol!
I recently had to purchase a new hard drive and OS just so i can run my cad program which is Solid Edge. they no longer support windows XP so I'm now running windows 7 and i must say i really like it. so i load windows 7 and all looks fine until i open solid edge.. Bummer.. My screen resolution on the dell monitor has a native resolution of 1366X986 and my circles look like an egg. I draw a 3 inch horizontal line and it looks fine. then i draw a 3 inch vertical line and it looks too short. bummer.. needless to say i had to purchase a new monitor with a higher screen resolution, im now running a 16.9 27" with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 and all is well.. I am just now getting back to drafting my cad programs. got the majority of my strut programs done other than drafting the springs and lower control arms done.. My main focus was on drafting the caliper mounts so i can machine them and get the brakes mounted.. which i will be machining next weekend...
