Would you mind telling more?
Covering? TX? Engine?
Very nice airplane! I would build it just like it is in the kit as well! Rubber Bands are part of the experience!

Here is a picture of my Trainermaster. It is from a kit made by Early R/C. I built this one about 5 yrs ago & this is a recent picture of it. Mine has an OS .40 for power & is covered in Monokote. The original Andrews kits still pop up on ebay every now & then...Gene
( i actually did a check & one is listed now )

I do have plans for the trainermaster, and Early RC Airplanes is kitting the Trainermaster. They are selling it for $140.

Brian,
There's a huge thread on RCG about Old Timer & Vintage Plans and the Sportmaster plans are posted in the thread. I've got a Sportmaster kit stashed away and a lead on a partially built model. My Dad and I built one many years ago (late 60's) and it was a fun model to fly.

The Trainermaster is basically a scaled down Sportmaster.
Here's a picture of a Sportmaster of mine that Lou liked, kind of reminds me of the Trainermaster.
I'm now flying a Electric Trainermaster.
How come the Minimaster wasn't mentioned?

Neat airplanes. Attached are a couple of pics of the Aeromaster Too I built back in the mid to late 70s.
One of the things that was so unusual about the Andrews kits was that real care was taken in producing them. Rare for the day, the parts actually (mostly) fit! If I remember correctly, most of the critical parts on the Aeromaster Too, such as wing saddles, cabane mounts, tail mounts etc were machine-routed rather than die-crushed. Incidences came out the way they were supposed to and fussing w/ final fits was minimal. At least for thr time.
I really enjoyed those builds.

Heres a link to the Sportmaster build I did a few years ago...Sadly life has gotten in the way and is still sitting in my garage. Still has not flown!
