A 250cc supercharged...............what are you going to do with it put it on an ultralight?
Lol
Actually, it would probably fly one. The very early weight shift Eipper ultralight airplanes used Yamaha 125cc engines. Even later three axis control ultralights only used Rotax 277cc engines. Granted in both cases a prop reduction drive was used that helped a lot, but it could be done....

I think this engine will be over 2,000.00 close to 2,500 bones.

My guess is 28-30 HP also.
What does everyone else think???

Don't think I would trust my life to those little belts.

DA has had problems in the past with their cranks. That will be even more torque. I'll be watching and waiting to see how reliable this engine proves to be. I applaud DA for their innovation, but I would have rather seen a 4-stroke radial from them to compete with Moki.

The DA 200 is $2795.00. I can only imagine this engine is way more expensive than that.

Oh that's sweet. Is the supercharger belt driven between the carb and crankcase?? Any more pics?

Wonder why they didn't go ''full tilt boogy'' with over head cams?? Pushrods are ''old tech.....'' (But I still love it!)

AV8TOR
if you look at the pic you can see the blower between the crANK-CASE AND THHE CARB.,,,AND 5000 HP FUEL DRAGSTER ENGINES ARE LOW TECH????? sorry about the caps,,,,,
