Have re-pinched a couple of nitro's......it works but does not seem to last as long as a new piston and sleeve. My 2 cents worth....

Check out RayAracing.com for professional repinching of piston and sleeve cylinder at $20 per set repinched. Supposed to last as long as a brand new set as they have the special tooling to do the repinch properly and accurately. They do the repinch in 3 steps with their own tool and die so as to achieve the proper and accurate repinch taper. Check out their website. Larry.

If you heat it up to about 200 degrees f before you try to start it, it'll start a lot easier.  Easier on the rod, too.
