engine tuning problems?

engine tuning problems?
I have a .16 nitro engine and when priming fuel spits out of where the airfilter is and I am kind of new to nitro so is that normal? Also when ever i pull the throttle at all the engine will start to turn off or turn off. Any help is appreshiated. Thank you.

Is the enginenew? Is it broken in? Has it run good before. Is it a Vertex engine?

No the engine is not new, its has been broken in, it has ran good before, and it is a vertex engine
I have taken out the glow plug and did what you do if it is flooded but nothing came out so i dont think it is flooded
