We are still heading in direction of the 1,2 and 3 June, dates are now froze !
Thanks to Global Jet Club who bring a 500$ gifts certificate to our pilots!
www.globaljetclub.com, visit their web site!
Thanks to St-Jean Téléguidés, who brought money to the event and will also entertain our public with numerous toys! St-Jean Téléguidé will also soon have their web site.
Finally (for now), thanks to the MAAC who also sponsor us!

Little update for the Sherbrooke Jets, I talked to Martin Lefebvre last week, he and the entire JetFun club (17 pilots) should be at our event...
So that bring our count so far to 40 pilots...
Thanks Martin and JetFun

Any update on how it has gone. I feel very bad for robin, who has put in a great amount of work to make this a big success. With the weather on Saturday, rain, rain, I hope he has had a good turnout, hoping the jet guys, did not let him down. Friday was nice weather and today Sunday should also be reasonable.

Thank you Robin and Karine all your hard work to make this event possible was very much appreciated!
One of the best flying sites I have been to in a while, well worth the drive! I am already looking forward to next year:-)
Even though it rained at times we managed to get numerous flights in each day. Had a great time, good to see some faces I have not seen in
while.
Thank you again

Robin, Karine and All,
Barb and I wish to thank you and all your assistants for hosting the 1st Intl R/C Jets 2012 Event at Sherbrooke Airport, QC this past weekend. We enjoyed the fantastic flight facility and the warm hospitiality extended during the event. We met many new jet pilots and renewed friendships with others. I logged several flights in spite of the "liquid sunshine" and spotted for other pilots. The event organization was superb and we look forward to future events at this facility. Again, "merci" for all your efforts and we hope to meet again at other jet events this season and beyond..

Robin, Karine, Mary and I would like to thank you so very much. I know the weather wasn't the best we still had an amazing time! Probably one of the smoothest runways I ever had the privilege to fly off of. It feels real good to have an event practically in my back yard! Looking forward to next year as well! A great location very close to the border that I'm sure will attract more of my US buddies!
We hope you can make it down to the Plum Island Jet Rally in a couple of weeks for a little R&R......

Robin, I'm one of those sissies that cancelled because of the weather. From what I have learned from Jeff Lynds it
is a fantastic place to fly. Nothing but good reports from everyone. Knowing this I'm sure that if you plan an event for next year many more will attend. I will be there even if I have to ride in Jeff's trailer.

Robin,
I too thank you for organizing the event...I appreciate all the work & spirit that you and Karine put into the event! Even though the weather was randomly good, I still got in several excellent flights for the start of the flying season. Sherbrooke definitely has the facilities and local entertainment for a great time! It was also great to see friends and practice my French...good thing Mary was around. See you next time.
Cheers,
Jeff

Robin and Karine! Finally got a chance to check in here at RCU. Ann and I had a great time! Can't wait to try again next year on what has to be the smoothest looking runway I've ever seen. And next time I'll make sure all the bugs are worked out of the jet before I get there! Congratulations on a well organized first time event. Hopefully next year the weather gods will smile on you.
Oh, and thank you much for the winch out Sunday morning. Next time we'll be a bit more carefull where we drive. ;-)

That looks like a great place to fly jets. Really, the only thing that stopped us from going was the lack of passports.

Merci Robin et Karine,
Even though I did not get to fly my little Habu, I did get to meet some really nice people and got a chance to see some world class jet flying.
You both deserve a pat on the back for putting together such a first class, first time event!
Hopefully you will organize another event for next year.
Time for you to take a break and get in some flying of your own.
Ghislain L.
