Another Hico Club 40 Race, July 14, 2012
OK all you Texas Club 40 junkies; the Hico Buzzard Busters is hosting another Club 40 race at their field on July 14 2012. All that were where the first time had a great time and those that missed it need to come to experience what they missed. This is truly a great venue for Club 40 racing. (The Field of Dreams)
See the attached flyer for all the details.
Once again the hard nose rule enforcer Gary Fisher is the CD, so be on your best behavior.
Post on this thread to reserve a spot at the lunch counter.

I’m hoping George & Deborah Bales had as much fun as we did at the last race! That is really a great field for a Club 40 pylon race. We just need to get some more of these pilots to wipe the oil off there Club 40’s and come over to Hico and experience George & Deborah’s Field of Dreams!

Where are you from Cameron? Where do you fly?
I am trying to get Fast Eddie to come to this one with me.

Cameron, welcome to club 40 racing. When you get to the flying field on race day ask around for any help you need, everyone will be happy to help you learn the ropes.

I fly at the ****** field. Those guys are extremely helpful so I know I'm in good hands.
I don't fly as well as McGuinn at full throttle so hopefully my plane will be in good hands through the entire race daylol

OK all you Hico race fans, just three days to the moment of truth. I, old BOB, the master detective, at the request of the CD, will have the necessary measuring instruments with me to weed out those nasty 46’s and any 43’s that may be hiding inside a 40 case. Gary Fisher is the CD and will have all A-MAIN engines inspected. So now is the time to check your equipment to make sure it’s legal.

Check your engines before you come to Hico, I found another one that is a 46 today. If I had not found it he would have brought it to Hico to race.
I don't want anybody to drive all the way to Hico and then be told there engine is illegal.
I will try and bring some extra engines just incase.

Thank you Hico Buzzard Busters for another great race. Thanks also to James Smola, owner of South Loop Pawn & Hobby Shop, Stephenville, TX, and Power Master for supplying the fuel for the race. The big surprise of the day was seeing an old friend Greg Doe who drove all the way from Tennessee to race with us. That’s what I call Club 40 dedication.
My buddies Gary, Brock & Tyler helped me a lot. Life is good when you have good friends. Thanks guys.
Stay tuned, the results and photos should be posted soon.
Boy, am I tired
