Default Kraft servos

Maybe a dumb question, but.

I aquired a couple of old RC planes, and one has a Kraft reciever and four Kraft servos. The plane is very old but looks like it may never have flown, the servos look hardly used also.
I know some people like old stuff that still works well.
I can't use the Kraft stuff. Has it any selling value at all?

Thanks
Tom

collectors - and there are quite a few -
leave everything as is and include any literature or info the seller may have.
Kraft is at the top of the list with collectors of radio systems.

Check on E-Bay. You can see if there is any market there. Almost anyting can be sold there!

Kraft is at the top of the list with collectors of radio systems.
I have to offer a bit of a challenge to this statement for the following reasons:
a) There were a lot of Krafts produced from the late sixties on.
b) They were very high quality and typically survive 40+ years very well.

From that standpoint they're kind of a dime-a-dozen. ME410 shouldn't expect to get gobs of money unless it's from the 'anodized' era.

Price for Kraft is not necessarily high but the collectability interest is high. the fact that there were many makes getting a pristine set very possible
It IS a popular colletible hobby item a few hundred bucks will get you some nice pieces. Kinda like some toy collectibles

OTOH it would be a shame to toss them. Why not offer them up on RCU classified at a cut-rate price?

I agree! Don't throw them away. I will be glad to pay shipping to get them if you can't sell them to someone. I have the perfect place to install them, a 1972 vintage Dubro Shark heli that I flew with Kraft when it was new. I am getting it ready for a show and tell at an upcoming helicopter fly-in and it would be great to have the same vintage servo's installed!

Thanks for all the input.

I will list them here at the marketplace. I will start at 50$ for the four servos and reciever, plus shipping.
If they don't sell I will keep you in mind D.W.

Cheers
