RE: Skystreakers R/C Club
Looks like we are all on vaca next week, I have some things I need to do at home this week but plan on flying my ass off when I can.
Catch you guys later.
Oh, Justin I have your tail trap done, you will need something to use as a stake that will fit a 3/8" hole. I left it at work but I will pick it up in the morning.
It was nice to see you flying the 50cc yesterday it looks like it flys great.

Worked a bit on the Extra last night, did not accomplish all that I had hoped. Everything always takes longer than expected, especially when you have to re-do a few things, getting the rudder pull pull cables right is always a tedious task.
I got the motor bolted on to the firewall while Jimmy Fallon was on, I'm going to pay for the late night to night as I am going to be working late into the evening moving the company's data center, FUN, FUN, Not!
See ya Sunday!

Tim,
Thanks very much for the Alpha firewall that you thoughtfully left in the "Fly RC" magazine as a centerfold.
It will save fabrication time and is much appreciated.
Regards,
Dave

Justin,
Steve not only has his new plane finished, but he made final adjustments, tested carefully, and flew two flights with everything working flawlessly this afternoon in the HOT SUN andHEAT!!.
Great looking and flying airplane.
Congratulations, Steve.

Oh . . . and whoever sees John Townsend, be sure to ask him why he is chewing the elevators off from little kid's trainer airplanes with the prop of his race plane.
And Irving thought that Charlie was terrorizing him by following his trainer. . . . . . He ain't seen nuthin till he sees John in action . . . and John seems like such a nice guy ( till that engine fires up) . . . . .

LOL
And yes Steve's plane flys nice, I am a bit surprised he was able to fly it today, Steve you must be exhausted, it sounds like you had a very busy weekend between work and getting this plane together.

we must have made twenty touch and goes before you ran out. I dont think i have ever put three flights in, in under an hour and a half. Good time, with some great planes and pilots. Tim and the 30cc yak, steve and the new 30cc extra, and carl with his tornado (jet) and my self getting used to the 50cc extra.

Tim,
John's prop chewed the elevator of Kyle Mooney's trainer, which crashed hard. Fuselage trashed.
John went home and got a Big Stick 40, which he gave to Kyle. The guys got it together and in the air.
The next time John flies, I am going to see if I can get him to wreck my ALPHA 40, so he can run home and get me that Pulse 60 that he has been HOARDING. :-)
Dave
OH . . .WAIT . . . . IFORGOT . . . . . I have to repair the ALPHA 40 before Jiohn can wreck it. DARN IT. . . .

RE: Skystreakers R/C Club
Spent a few hours at the field, 4th of July, Flew the Miss America P51 which was a very fitting and patriotic plane for the occasion. I think I finally figured out how to land her LOL.
