Default custom HDPE (plastic) fuel tanks

Custom HDPE Fuel Tanks

Made from 1/8” or 1/16" high density polyethylene and comes with a Sullivan gas fitting. These are made to order to your specifications. All you have to do is provide basic measurements (Length x Width x Height).

For those who don't perfer the sullivan fuel fittings I can install HDPE barbed fittings. One in a lower corner for a fuel pick-up and one in a top corner for a vent. I have two sizes of barbed fittings, one for small-medium nitro line and one for large gas line.

No payment is due until the tank has been built, leak tested and ready to ship. I will email you pictures and my paypal address at that time. Prices are based on size and complexity. Most small- med nitro tanks will run $25-$35 and larger gas $40-$50.

I've sold a few on JRCBD with great results. I was told by a few guys that there might be some interest on this site.

You can PM me or email sketches/ measurements to [email protected]

Thanks for looking

Ryan Lipgens

How do you attach all the seperate tank pieces together?Welded or some kind of adhesive? My concern is about vibrations causing a leak.

Ryan makes awsome tanks and has even started radio boxes too. I have bought two tanks so far and plan on getting custom radio box also. He is profesional and ships quick. Keep on building Ryan! Thanks again, Shaun.

Ryan,

I have a just built, never run, 44" Conquest Cat coming next week.  The guy that built it installed an IV bag for the fuel tank.  I will take measurements when it gets here so you can build me a tank.  I much prefer a hard tank over the IV bag if not for the simple fact that you do not have to burp it when filling.  I also think your tank would be much more durable and last longer then a bag.  I also want to check to see if he has the CG right and proper tank placment will help also.

Sounds good maddog, I can put two fittings in the top. One for a fill and one for a vent. No "T" fittings to mess with.
