Default LiPo Batteries

How come it is that my LiPo batteries "puff up" after some usage??
Been using the Triton charger with the balancing function and charging at 1C.

Thanks for any information you can provide.

There's a million reasons, but the two leading contenders are improper discharge (too low end voltage) and/or improper storage (they don't like heat, especially at full capacity).

I would add drawing too many amps- the c ratings are often exaggerated. A small amount of puffing is okay

Definately the top answers here.

Here's questions to try to pinpoint it exactly.

What is the flight time been?

What is the resting voltage right before you charge pack again?

How many ma/h have you put back in? Never want to put back in more then 80% of rated capacity. If you do then your using them for to long.

But sometimes if the charger is balancing cells it puts in way more than 80% capacity because of balancing (discharging and charging)
