A-10 Plans?

A-10 Plans?
Years ago (late '90's?) a magazine (I believe it was M.A.N.) published a free set of plans for an A-10 powered by 2 .049's. I stashed the magazine away in a safe place so I would have it when I got the time to build the airplane. Well, I now have the time but I did such a good job of hiding the magazine I can't find it. Does anyone remember these plans or the airplane? If so, are they still available? I've googled and searched the Model Airplane News website but didn't find anything. As I recall the plans themselves were printed with black and red ink on a full-size foldout page.
Any help would be appreciated!

RE: A-10 Plans?
I have them. I actualy built the plane and it flies fine. It's a double sided plan in red and black, a little difficult at first to figure out, but it's a very easy build. PM me and I can copy you a set (free of charge of course, one nutsy 1/2a'er to another)

RE: A-10 Plans?
Hi TJ
What is the copyright status of the plans?
Would it be possible to scan them and post them?
I'd love to give one a go but live on the other side of the planet.
Thanks mate

RE: A-10 Plans?
Well now James, in that case I may just have to deliver the plans in person
I've looked over the plans carefuly and I don't see any copyright stamps. They were published in MAN sometime I think in the early 90's or late 80's, I don't think I still have the issue they came in but it was back in a time when the ,051 was still commonplace on hobby store shelves (ah! for those days!). They were a bonus pull out insert and not sold as a separate plan, so I'm not sure what the law allows in that case. I will, however, email MAN and ask about it. If they say ok, then I will certainly scan and post for all to have.
To the best of my vastly limited knowledge, I am the only one that has built the plane outside of the MAN staff at the time of the publication. I have not seen anything at any flying field or in any publication. I'm sure others have built it, but I've never seen them. It is a nice plane actualy, it's very easy to build, probably I'll call it a skill level 2 or just into a 3 due to the twin engines, and it flies very docile. Simple box fuselage and built up wings, it is a WAY stand off scale, but in the air and on the ground it can be mistaken for no airplane other than an A10. It could be "accurized" well enough to enter the sport scale category, but I think it's fine the way it is. In either case, for a free set of plans and a bit of balsa it makes an excellent flying model.

Thanks a ton!
I appreciate your efforts. In all seriousness, if you find yourself hopelessly lost on the other side of the world, just pop in and we'll have a beer together!

RE: A-10 Plans?
Getting the plans duped now, never made color plan copies before so I'll have to wait a few days for the print shop to get them done. Good news is that the plans will also be scanned so I will have a digital. I haven't found out yet about copyrights, but as soon as I do I'll find a way to post them in PDF or other common program. Sifff.....snifff......sniiiiiifffff....hmmmmmm.... ..anybody smell an A10 build off in the future????

RE: A-10 Plans?
One of the first EDFs I ever saw was one of these 1/2A A-10's. It didn't have a lot of power (this would have been in 1998 or so) but it seemed like a friendly airplane.
I still have my plans, but when this thread popped up I checked the MAN plans store and panicked... There are a number of plans I don't have yet that I wanted: BeeTween, Chips, 1/2A FanTrainer etc..
Don't know what I am going to do now.[]
