surprised Pixar ( Disney Studios ) hasn't sued them into the ground for copyright or trademark infringment. Hmm hey who paid for those things anyway???

That is Mike Senna, a GREAT guy and a real smart cookie. If every forum had a guy like him on every board the web would be a better place.
He is one of a few great R2D2 builders and designs parts and drive systems he shares with every one. Mike also holds R2 meets at his home and live streams it to the web.
He is a vary giving person.
His Wall E is not 100% done, but once its finished it will bring the beer i am sure. ...and phone for pizza.... or is that what R2 is for ??
As for coppyrights well Disney may be taking a page from George Lucas and as long as you dont make money or sell built robots , its all good...and who needs the bad press..
