Vintage and Telemaster Day at Shropshire Model Flying Club 12th August 2012
A few pictures taken with my modest camera at the SMFC's Vintage and Telemaster Day held on Sunday 12th August.
The big Giant Telemaster flew for the first time but after one circuit the owner landed it because he required full right aileron trim and because he had experienced a lack of elevator authority. Rectification to be carried out in the workshop.

I especially like the Tiger Moth ... did it fly well?
And, you just can't beat scalloped leading edge paintwork. I dunno why, it's just soooo attractive.

No they couldn't get the engine to start despite the attentions of three qualified engineers seen in the picture!
