RE: GAS OUTBOARD guys this is our new home
Very 'aggressive' looking pain job.........I have seen one rc F1 with a similar air brush......looked cool.
You oiler looks like you are running that thin messy red compressor oil..........not very good stuff if it is..........good for cooling......not lubricating.

Is it the Motul 800 '2 stroke'............the Motul Gearbox which I 'now' recommend for the Flex shaft is more of a brown/orange color.......LOL
Had a look at the Psycho clowns.............I would have to be psycho to be towed at 145km/h......................Wow !

Hi there oz,
I got on the phone and if you want to go Motul for the ester, go to the bike shop and ask for Motul 1050- 5100, 1050 is the weight. this is what is being used in the four strokes and cost $21.95. The OB guys down here are running the Nulon oil I mentioned earlier and works well and does not have a problem with water mixing with it. It only cost about $10 from supercheap auto. Or if you have bar oil in your shed, use that-many do. There are probably plenty more options out there,
Cheers,
Dion

Hi Guy's
Dion dropped in on his way to Sydney for the winter spectacular and had his F1 with him.
The weather was very blowie so we found a sheltered bay to play in. I managed to blow over my F1 after only a couple of laps.
Dion faired better but he still managed to have a crash. Here is the video

RE: GAS OUTBOARD guys this is our new home
Hi there Jim and Bruce and all,
Thanks for the great day and night outJim and Bruce!! My partner really enjoyed the night out and thinks you guys are TOP SHELF!! (me too) I am not sure what was more fun- running the boats, hanging out with you two or the combination of both. Yes the weather was not on our side and the vid makes it look better than it was. I need to screw that needle in now and lose some oil from the fuel mix and get that hull going a bit quicker now that it is broken in. I met a couple more from your nick of the woods on saturday- Greg and Dave_ they were nice blokes as well! There were plenty of tunnels in Sydney along with many other boats in all forms- a really good turn out up there. I hope to come and run with you guys again or you guys can come down here and hopefully we get some good weather and no ducks getting in my way and flipping my boat over when they decide to surface in front of me-cheeky buggers!! And no ducks were hurt- one might have a head ache though, but that was his fault and not mine! Many thanks again for the great day and night guys- really look forward to the next catch up,
Cheers,
Dion.
ps,
I will get that fencing wire back in the tool kit for next time! lol just for you eagle eye Bruce!!

Hi guys,
Has anyone run the Quickdraw Hotpipe on their OBs and if so which version and what did you think of it?
Cheers,
Dion.

No news about the wrap-around hotpipe Henk?
This hotpipe still sticks out a lot behind the cilinder, not really a problem for all the lawless legs and look-a-likes, but not really nice for the VP and Arian outboards..

This is the only picture I've got from Don .
I'll ask him for more pictures .
As it's a customized QD-DeepV .. Don sells them @ 230us$ (incl. Gizmo 'No-leak' flange)
With QD-flange only it's 210us$ as far as I know.
Did send Don examples of the JohanD , and Don was going to discuss it with Mitch/Todd.
Not had feedback about this from Don.
The VP-Samba is still sold , and the ArrowShark looks like a good altenative.
I'll ask Don to jump in .

Hi Hendrick
I've made quite a few with internal and external stingers. Here is a link from Quickdraw that gives the demensions,
http://quickdrawengines.com/Page_191.html
I sell these for $210.00 plus shipping and silencers are extra. The T-Mod clamp on is $35.00 and the Quickdraw which is held on by springs is $40.00.
Hope this helps.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh .. not so much as I hoped for .
People are asking for more pictures of the one you made for the Lawless (side-view)
And they are curious about a 'wrapped-arround' hotpipe.

When I built that one I had the outdrive to make it up. Had I known it was going to be popular I would have assembled a fixture for it. If I had another one to use as a template then I could produce as many as needed. They're not that hard to make but the angles have to be spot on.
